September 19, 2018

MALC is holding a public “Celebration of Life” ceremony for MALC Co-Founder and Steering Committee Member Liora Beer on November 14th, 2018, from 12:30pm to 1:30pm, in the Massachusetts State House’s Great Hall, 24 Beacon Street, Boston, MA 02133.

Liora was a staunch advocate for artists of all disciplines. She was an accomplished artist who worked in many media: painting, sculpture, drawing, metals/jewelry, and more.

Her work supporting fellow artists spanned over twenty years. She was an effective advocate for artists, connecting them to much-needed resources when she worked for the City of Boston. She served on the Artists Foundation Board and was a Co-Founder and a key member of the MALC Steering Committee. Lastly, and most importantly to her, was her role as the Founder and Executive Director of Artmorpheus and the Fairmount Innovation Lab.

This event to honor Liora’s life is free and open to the public. Members of Liora’s family will be in attendance for the celebration.

Liora’s event is part of the 12th Annual Artists Under the Dome event, marking the 10th anniversary of the founding of MALC. The Ceremony and AUD events are free and open to the public.

Registration is not required to attend, but is highly encouraged.*
