Invitation: Join Mass Cultural Council, Congressman Neal, & Sen. Hinds at Shakespeare & Co. May 31
(via the Mass Cultural Council)
Dear Colleagues,
Please join the Mass Cultural Council, US Congressman Richard Neal, and State Senator Adam Hinds Thursday, May 31 to celebrate our partnership with the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) to invest in the rich and diverse cultural life of Western Mass.
Congressman Neal has been a steadfast supporter of the NEA and other federal cultural agencies in the face of recent proposals to eliminate them. As Co-Chair of the Committee on Tourism, Arts & Cultural Development, Sen. Hinds is a leading champion for the cultural sector on Beacon Hill. This is a chance to thank them and their colleagues for their support, and honor and celebrate your work to elevate the quality of life across the region through the arts, humanities, and creative youth development.
The event begins at 11:30 am at Shakespeare & Company’s Elayne P. Bernstein Theatre, 70 Kemble Street, Lenox, MA 01240, and includes a speaking program and luncheon. Directions are online here, and a list of the most recent NEA grant awards to the region is below.
To RSVP contact Angelina Lupini at angelina.lupini@art.state.ma.us or 617-858-2724.
Sincerely,
Anita Walker
