Join Us Sept. 9 for the Boston Mayoral Forum on Arts, Culture, and Creativity
One of the highlights of the Create the Vote campaign will be the Boston Mayoral Candidate Forum on Arts, Culture, and Creativity, where the candidates for mayor will discuss and debate the issues of the creative community.
This fall’s election of a new mayor in Boston brings with it hope and opportunity.
Over the next three months, Bostonians and the mayoral candidates will openly discuss the strengths and challenges of the city and debate Boston’s priorities and vision for the next decade and beyond. MALC has partnered with MASSCreative and the Create the Vote Coalition to ensure that a thriving arts, culture, and creative sector is part of that discussion and one of the priorities for Boston’s next mayor.
One of the highlights of the Create the Vote campaign will be the Boston Mayoral Candidate Forum on Arts, Culture, and Creativity, where the candidates for mayor will discuss and debate the issues of the creative community. The event, moderated by Joyce Kulhawik, will be held September 9 from 6-7:30 p.m. at the Paramount Theatre on Washington Street.
We want to personally invite you to the Forum to hear firsthand where the candidates stand on the issues of arts, culture and creativity. Please RSVP here to attend.
As the mayoral campaign heads into the fall, the arts, culture, and creative community has a rare opportunity to ensure that the issues of our sector and their fundamental importance in the overall quality of life in the city are prominent in the minds of the candidates and the voters of Boston. The Forum will be an opportunity for the creative community to show the candidates that their commitment to the arts, culture, and creativity matters.
Show the mayoral candidates that you care about the arts this election and attend the Forum on September 9. Click here to attend.
By working together, we can ensure that the next Mayor of Boston is a true champion of the arts.
