MALC urges everyone to remember that there would be no art if someone hadn’t created it. Participate in the 13th Annual Artists Under the Dome Event

Massachusetts State House’s Great Hall- Free and Open to the Public
For the thirteenth time, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is inviting Massachusetts artists working in all disciplines (visual arts, literary, performing, crafts, new media, etc.) to the State House. Registration for the event is now open– it is not required to register, but it is strongly encouraged!!
Massachusetts is the only state in the country to have such an event!
The 4th Annual MALC Champion of Artists Awards
For the fourth time, MALC will be awarding its Champion of Artists Awards as part of the 13th Annual Artists Under the Dome event on November 18th at the Massachusetts State House. These awards are given by MALC to honor those who have shown exceptional support of the artists community.
The award ceremony will begin at 11:00am in the State House’s Great Hall, located on the second floor. This ceremony, along with all the events that are part of the annual Artists Under the Dome event, are free and open to the public. By Artists, For Artists is a key fact-finding report created to help guide legislative policy that impacts artists of all disciplines in Massachusetts and beyond. The 2018 report, dedicated to Liora Beer (1953-2018), co-founder of MALC and Founder and Director of Artmorpheus, is based on the 2009 Stand Up and Be Counted project, the first-ever Massachusetts statewide survey of working artists of all disciplines.
