Dear Members of the MALC Steering Committee and all who came on November 14th, 2018 to Celebrate the Life of Liora at the Massachusetts State House

Liza, Talia and I thank all who came from the bottom of our hearts for the beautiful memorial celebration of Liora’s life. It was very special for us to have the chance to share our thoughts and memories with so many colleagues and friends from Liora’s artistic community, and to have that community meet Liora’s family. It was also incredibly powerful to hear others speak about Liora and the importance of her work and her alliances. In the words, poetry and music, we all felt Liora’s presence–and her approval! She so loved the MALC community and being a part of its important work. While we still keenly feel Liora’s loss, we took great solace in the day.
