2019 Proposed House Ways & Means Budget Released (Part One)

April 12, 2018

At noon today the proposed 2019 House Ways and Means Budget was released. This is the second step in the Commonwealth’s budget process.

Here is a link to the proposed: budget: https://malegislature.gov/Budget/HouseWaysMeansBudget

The proposed House budget level funds the Mass Cultural Council and for the most part seems to echo the funding in the Governor’s proposed budget. There is no change Commonwealth’s Film Tax Credit program.

Amendments to the proposed House budget will need to be filed by the end of this week. MALC will post key amendments to the budget and what you can do to help support them.
