Craft Emergency Relief Fund Accepting Applications From Arts/Crafts People in Need
Are you a professional artist/craftsperson who has experienced a recent career-threatening emergency such as an illness, accident, fire, or natural disaster. Do you know someone who has?
The Craft Emergency Relief Fund is a national nonprofit organization providing small grants of up to $3,000 for artists in such emergency situations.
“You must have experienced a recent, unforeseen emergency or triggering event that has significantly and adversely affected your ability to produce, exhibit and/or market your work and, thus, creates the need for immediate assistance.”
CERF+ broadly defines eligible artists to be inclusive of all materials-based artists regardless of whether they use “craft” to describe themselves. You must have professional standing, be a legal resident of the United States, and have suffered a recent career-threatening emergency.
