Nearly all Massachusetts federal offices are up for re-election
All of Massachusetts’ nine Congressional seats are up for re-election and one of Massachusetts’ two U.S. Senate seats is on the ballot. (See below for the complete listing.)
Also, there are four important ballot questions on the November 4th ballot!

MALC does not endorse candidates for office, but seeks to provide needed and timely information about candidate’s platforms and policies that impact artists of all disciplines, the art, cultural and creative economies. We urge everyone in our community to take the time to become informed about those running and to make the time to vote in the November 4th general elections.
Remember: the week after the election MALC will be holding its 8th Annual Artists Under The Dome Event at the State House. Artists of all disciplines are welcome and encouraged to attend!
The following is a break down of who is running in the November 4th general elections (i.e., their names will be on the ballot).
The names on the November 4th General Ballot:
Candidates for U.S. Senate
- Ed Markey (D) holds the seat now and is the only candidate running for the Democratic party. http://www.edmarkey.com/

Candidates for U.S. House of Representatives
District One
- Richard Neal (D) is the incumbent and the Democratic candidate running for the seat. http://www.nealforcongress.com/
- There are no Republicans running for the seat.
- Frederick Mayock (Independent) is running for the seat (we could not find a campaign website for him)
District Two
- Jim McGovern (D) is the incumbent and the only candidate running for the Democratic party. http://jimmcgovern.com/ (There are no Republicans running for the seat.)
District Three
- Niki Tsongas (D) is the incumbent and the Democratic candidate. http://nikitsongas.com/

District Five

District Six (a very competitive three way race)
