New Art Center Curatorial Opportunity Program

February 15, 2012

The Curatorial Opportunity Program (COP) enables first-time or established curators to explore experimental approaches in the presentation of contemporary art. Curators of selected group exhibitions receive a $1,000 stipend.

The New Art Center has a 34-year tradition of using its Main Gallery for group exhibitions curated by an exhibiting artist or independent curator. Since May 1991 we have continued this tradition through a public call for proposals.

Our deadline for receipt of curatorial proposals for the 2012-2013 cycle is: April 9, 2012. For more information and to apply, please download the 2012-2013 Guidelines and Application (PDF).
