Please come and invite others as we honor the achievements of Dr. Gene Sharp on April 27th, 7pm at District Hall in the South Boston/Seaport District.
The event is free and open to the public.
Dr. Sharp, founder and Senior Scholar of the Albert Einstein Institution, has been widely recognized as a luminary in the development of the study and use of nonviolent action. His numerous writings on the topic have been translated into more than 45 languages and have been studied by activists, students, policymakers, and others around the globe.
Based in East Boston, Dr. Sharp has received global recognition and numerous international awards, including the Spirit of Gandhi Award, the El-Hibri Peace Education Prize, and the Right Livelihood Award. We are delighted to celebrate his global impact right here in his home community.
