Save the Date! Boston Creates: A Cultural Planning Town Hall, June 2, 2015

May 27, 2015

Boston Creates depends on your participation!

Boston Creates invitation

Let’s all show up and participate!

(via Julie Burros, Mayor’s Office of Arts and Culture)

As you may know, Boston has recently launched a Cultural Planning Process. Boston Creates, under the leadership of Mayor Martin J. Walsh, will provide an opportunity for Boston’s many communities and neighborhoods to participate in creating a cultural blueprint highlighting Boston’s strengths and setting innovative goals for the future.

On Tuesday, June 2, 2015, you are invited to attend our kick-off event, the Boston Creates Town Hall. This event marks the beginning of the community engagement phase of the planning process which will include meetings, conversations and smaller events all across the city throughout the summer, all dedicated to hearing from you.

Boston Creates depends upon community participation for its success.  Everyone’s voice is important and we look forward to hearing diverse opinions and ideas about Boston’s cultural priorities.

The Boston Creates Town Hall will take place at English High School in Jamaica Plain at 6:00 p.m. Register in advance at www.bostoncreatestownhall.eventbrite.com. I welcome your assistance in sharing this invitation with others.

If you have any questions about the Town Hall or the cultural planning process, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me at Julie.Burros@boston.gov.

See you on June 2nd!

Sincerely,

Juiie Burros signature
