The Governor’s proposal House Bill 62 would repeal the state’s film and television production incentive program. This bill would destroy a growing industry in Massachusetts, eliminate thousands of jobs, and have a devastating effect on local businesses across the state.
Your state legislators need to hear from you personally about the impact the incentive program and local industry has on your jobs and businesses. Now is the time. Join the film and media industry on Tuesday, May 12th at the State House to make your voice heard!
SCHEDULE
8:00 AM Visibility Outside the State House
Industry members will assemble to hold campaign signs “FILMS = JOBS” outside the perimeter of the State House.
10:00 AM Registration – Gardner Auditorium
Check in to receive packets for Lobby Day. Please arrive early to allow time to pass through security and sign in.
11:00 AM Program Begins
A brief speaking program will be followed by visiting our State Senators and Representatives asking them to oppose the Governor’s proposal to repeal the film and television production incentive program.
