September 9 Primary Election Alert – Make Sure You are Registered!
August 20th is the last day to register to vote in the Primary of September 9th!
All the information you will need is found on the Secretary of State’s website.
Make sure you register by August 20th!
Here are the details
One of the quickest ways to register is to stop by your local town or city clerk’s office. Many will be staying open until 8pm on Wednesday. But double-check yours to make sure.
Can’t make it to your clerk’s office during business hours? Register by mail!
And if you’re already registered but know you can’t be in town on primary day, Sept. 9, you can request an absentee ballot.
Note: If you are not enrolled with any party or have not declared a party designation, you can also vote in the primary. Just make sure you are registered!
Let’s make this a high turnout primary
The future direction of our state is at stake. Your candidate of choice could be eliminated if you don’t vote. Open primary races exist for Governor, Lt. Governor, Secretary of State, Treasurer, Auditor, Senator, Representatives in Congress, and local Councillor seats. Yes, this primary is that important!
