State Budget Process-First Step-the Governor’s Budget (Part Two)

Part Two is focusing on the public library funding.
There are several library line items MALC follows:
a) 7000-9101 Board of Library Commissioners- Got a slight increase to $1,088,204

b) 7000-9401 for State Aid to Regional Libraries Local Aid also got an increase to $10,082,140

c) 7000-9501, Public Libraries Local Aid was increase slightly as well to $9,180,900

d) 7000-9506 For Library Technology and Automated Resource-Sharing Networks was also increased by a small margin to $2,115, 928

The next step in the budget process is for the House Ways and Means Committee to release its proposed budget in April.
