State House Alert For Anti-Coop Language
Urgent Call To Action To Protect Artists’ Coops And All Coops In Massachusetts!
State Senator Bruce Tarr filed anti-coop language as an amendment to the Housing Bond Bill the Senate began debating this week. Please help us generate as many calls as possible to block Amendment #37. We need you citizen artist! Together we can protect artist coops and protect all coop housing in Massachusetts.
The debate on the Housing Bond Bill will continue next week. Starting on Monday, please call and urge your state senator to reject Amendment #37. It is the same language that was proposed this year in the senate budget and as stand alone legislation. We defeated it then and once again we need to defeat this unnecessary and harmful language. Please be polite, professional, and delightfully pleasant when speaking with your senator’s staffer.
Don’t know who your state senator is? No worries. Just punch your address into the Secretary of State’s Elections and Voting search engine.
After you make your call, please tell your artist friends to call their state senators.
