REMINDER!! Today is the Deadline to Register to Vote in the September 4th Primaries!
“Voters registering by mail must have their forms postmarked by August 15.
All local election offices are open until 8 p.m.“
This year the Massachusetts primary elections take place on Tuesday, September 4th. The primary election will decide many key federal races (one U.S Senate seat and all nine seats for Congress) and many many state races.
It is important to note that all of our state representatives and state senators are up for re-election, as well as all of our state constitutional officers (Governor, Lt. Governor, Attorney General, Treasurer, Secretary of State, and State Auditor)!!
Primary races are extremely important and we encourage everyone to vote in the upcoming September 4th primaries.
Register (or re-register) by August 15, 2018!
If you haven’t registered to vote, or need to re-register (i.e., you moved/changed your address), you must do so by TODAY August 15th!!

Please make sure you are registered, then get out and vote!!
From the Daily Hampshire Gazette:
“Those who still need to register or change their party affiliation have until the end of Wednesday (August 15th). Voters can register online, by mail, or in person.
In Massachusetts, independent voters may vote in any party primary. Voters registered in a political party — Democratic, Republican, or Libertarian — can only vote in their party’s primary.
To vote in the primary of a different party voters must un-enroll from their party by Wednesday. Independent voters who vote in a party primary remain independent voters.
Voters registering by mail must have their forms postmarked by August 15. All local election offices are open until 8 p.m.“
