Update from Yesterday’s Senate Budget Debate

May 24, 2017

As MALC reported yesterday, Amendment #38 – the anti-film tax credit amendment- was adopted (the vote was 29 to 3). Also yesterday, the Senate rejected the two library amendments MALC was following: #227 & #230.  Still awaiting a vote is Amendment #694 to establish a percent for public art program for the Commonwealth. The Senate will continue its debate today and into Thursday.
