Urgent Action Needed To Protect Health Care

March 25, 2017

UPDATE: The legislation was pulled on Friday afternoon (March 24th) and thus defeated (for now) THANK YOU to all who advocated!!

From the ACT Coalition:

We expect the U.S. House of Representatives to vote on the American Health Care Act tonight. We still have an opportunity to stop this harmful legislation. Please spread the message below far and wide!

Also, please check out the  HCFA blog with an updated chart on the impact of the AHCA on MA.

URGENT ACTION TO PROTECT HEALTH CARE

House Vote TODAY on ACA Repeal Bill

On the seventh anniversary of the Affordable Care Act (ACA, or “Obamacare”), the U.S. House of Representatives will vote on the American Health Care Act, which will repeal major portions of the ACA. The bottom line of this bill: fewer people covered, weaker protections and higher costs for individuals and families across the country.

Please contact your friends and family who live in the states listed here, and ask them to call their Representatives in Congress!

Clinicians and providers or provider organizations: we ask that you also share this message with your colleagues working in other states.

Thank you for your continued advocacy at this critical time!
