Apply Now for 2020 Mass Cultural Council Artist Fellowships

Mass Cultural Council is currently accepting applications for 2020 Artist Fellowships. You can apply now for Fellowships in Drawing & Printmaking, Poetry, and Traditional Arts. Deadline: Monday, October 7, 2019.
The Artist Fellowships are $15,000 awards to recognize excellence in Massachusetts artists. The program also awards $1,500 finalist grants.

There are two Artist Fellowships application deadlines per year, and this is the first deadline. We will welcome applications in Choreography, Fiction/Creative Nonfiction, and Painting beginning December 15, 2019, with a January 27, 2020 deadline.

Contact Your Senators: $5 Billion for Library and Museum Services may be Diverted to Pay for Border Wall
A Call-to-Action by the American Alliance of Museums:
Even though Congress is on recess, critical funding decisions are being considered now. In recent days reports have noted that $5 billion may be diverted from the Senate spending bill that funds the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) to pay for President Trump’s border wall. ~ American Alliance of Museums
