Senate Budget Released on May 17th

Heads up!

It is going to a very busy two weeks up at the Massachusetts State House.

The Senate Ways & Means budget is slated to be released on Tuesday, May 17th at 11am.  Amendments to the Senate budget will more than likely need to be filed by Friday, May 20th, and on Tuesday, May 24th, the Senate will begin its debate on the budget.

MALC will be looking out for several line items and issues: the Mass Cultural Council’s budget, several line items for our State’s Library system, and also if there is any language addressing the film tax credit, public art, etc..
