Reminder: Take 10 minutes to contact your State Rep to restore MA Arts and Humanities funding

April 12, 2017

Time is very short (Thursday noon) to ask your state representative to sign on to amendments currently submitted by concerned legislators to restore much needed arts, humanities and science funding to the proposed FY2018 budget.

Find out how to make that call/email here:
http://artistsunderthedome.org/malc/news/time-advocate-amendments-house-budget/

This important step is necessary so that amendments attached to the FY2018 budget to increase and restore funding for the Massachusetts Cultural Council, the Office of Tourism, and the Massachusetts Libraries (MLB) will have sufficient support from a broad coalition of members of the House before it goes to debate by the full House on April 24.

However, the deadline for filing amendments is Thursday noon (April 13). Please don’t delay. Call/email now!

Please spread the word!

Thank you!
