For the fifth time, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is inviting Massachusetts artists working in all disciplines (visual arts, literary, performing, crafts, new media, etc.) to the State House on Thursday, November 17th to thank them for all they contribute to our state’s economy and quality of life.\u00a0Massachusetts is the only state in the country to have such an event!<\/p>\n

The 2011 event is brought to you by\u00a0the Joint Committee on Tourism, Arts and Cultural Development<\/a>,\u00a0the Joint<\/a>\u00a0Committee on Economic Development and Emerging Technologies<\/a>,\u00a0State Treasurer Steve Grossman<\/a>,\u00a0the Executive Office of<\/a>\u00a0Housing and Economic Development<\/a>,\u00a0the Joint Committee of Community<\/a>\u00a0Development and Small Business<\/a>,\u00a0the Massachusetts Cultural Council<\/a>, the Cultural Caucus, and\u00a0the Massachusetts Artists Leaders Coalition<\/a>.<\/p>\n
