\"\"<\/a>Bemis Center<\/a>, located in Omaha, NE, offers artists-in-residence with the gift of time, space and financial support.<\/p>\n

TIME:
\n2 – 4 months of uninterrupted, self-directed work time.<\/p>\n

SPACE:
\n* The Bemis Center is housed in two urban warehouses totaling 110,000 square feet in
\ndowntown Omaha, NE.
\n* Each artist is provided with a generously sized live\/work studio with a private bathroom
\nand kitchen, 24 hour access to facilities including a wood shop, approximately 9,000
\nsquare feet of installation spaces and a large sculpture fabrication facility.
\n* The newly renovated 10,000 square foot Okada Sculpture Facility features 12 foot
\ngarage doors, a kiln room with a 31″W x 42″L x 27″D Bailey electric kiln, a clay mixing
\nroom, 176 square foot ventilated room, welding facilities and 6,000 square feet of open
\nspace.<\/p>\n

SUPPORT:
\n$750 monthly stipend granted to each artist.<\/p>\n
