Now is the time to contact your Senator and urge him or her to restore MCC funding by signing on to Sen. Donoghue\u2019s amendment.<\/p>\n<p>The amendment would increase MCC funding by $1.75 million to $11 million, allowing MCC to restore funds for nonprofit cultural organizations, communities, schools and youth programs, that have been lost through years of budget cuts. Cosponsors demonstrate that arts and cultural funding has widespread support in the Senate, and that restoring this funding should be a priority. Sen.
