The meeting, which will take place\u00a0in the Madison Auditorium, will focus on <strong>Copyright Policy<\/strong>, <strong>Creativity<\/strong>, and <strong>Innovation in the Digital Economy<\/strong>. There will be a series of panels discussing <strong>first sale<\/strong>, <strong>remixes<\/strong>, <strong>DMCA notice and takedown<\/strong>, and <strong>online music licensing<\/strong>. Copyright Alliance Executive Director <a href=\"https:\/\/copyrightalliance.org\/ca_team\">Sandra Aistars <\/a>will speak during a panel on statutory damages.<\/p>\n<p>In July the U.S. Department of Commerce\u2019s Internet Policy Task Force (IPTF), along with input from the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) and the National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA), released a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.uspto.gov\/news\/pr\/2013\/13-22.jsp\">Green Paper <\/a>on updating copyright policies for the internet age.
