\n0640-0302 For the Massachusetts Cultural Facilities Fund established in section 42 of chapter 23G of the General Laws for the acquisition, design, construction, repair, renovation, rehabilitation or other capital improvement or deferred maintenance to a cultural facility \u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026$50,000,000<\/p>\n

Please contact your State Senator as today is the deadline to cosponsor Senator Joyce\u2019s amendment to fund the Cultural Facilities Fund at $75 Million. The amendment has not been assigned a number as yet. Just let your senator\u2019s office know that Senator Joyce has an amendment to bump the Cultural Facilities Fund to $75 million and today is the deadline to cosponsor it.<\/p>\n

The Cultural Facilities Fund is a key needed grant program and \u201cis administered through a collaborative arrangement between MassDevelopment and the Massachusetts Cultural Council\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Fund provides Capital Grants to promote the acquisition, design, repair, rehabilitation renovation, expansion, or construction of nonprofit cultural facilities in Massachusetts. All grants from the Fund must be matched with cash contributions from the private or public sector.\u201d<\/p>\n
