In that speech, he mentioned that his budget for 2016 is due by March 4th.<\/p>\n<p>In his address to <a href=\"http:\/\/bostonchamber.com\/\">TheChamber<\/a>,\u00a0Governor Baker spoke about his priorities. If the proposed 9C budget cuts are any indication, arts and culture will not be spared. (Please see the MALC blog post on the 9C cuts: <a href=\"http:\/\/artistsunderthedome.org\/malc\/news\/ma-budget-cuts-9c-updates\/\">http:\/\/artistsunderthedome.org\/malc\/news\/ma-budget-cuts-9c-updates\/<\/a>)<\/p>\n<p>&#8212;-<\/p>\n<p>Please be aware that <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mass-creative.org\/\"><strong>MassCreative<\/strong><\/a> is promoting an online petition around the Governor&#8217;s 2016 budget and the Massachusetts Cultural Council.<\/p>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: center;\">Arts in Action Petition to Gov.
