It is going to a very busy two weeks<\/strong> up at the Massachusetts State House.<\/p>\n The Senate Ways & Means budget<\/strong> is slated to be released on Tuesday, May 17th at 11am<\/strong>.\u00a0 Amendments to the Senate budget will more than likely need to be filed by Friday, May 20th, and on Tuesday, May 24th, the Senate will begin its debate on the budget.<\/p>\n MALC will be looking out for several line items and issues: the Mass Cultural Council\u2019s budget, several line items for our State\u2019s Library system, and also if there is any language addressing the film tax credit, public art, etc..<\/p>\n Stay tuned….<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Heads up!
