Athletes and the Arts – Integrating the Science of Sports Medicine into the World of Performing Arts<\/h5>\n

\"athletes_arts_logo\"<\/a>This special event will feature members of the national\u00a0Athletes and the Arts<\/i><\/b>\u00a0coalition and local performing artists\u00a0who will talk\u00a0about ongoing efforts to integrate relevant sports medicine and wellness\u00a0science into the underserved world of performing artists.\u00a0 The performing artist and the sport athletes face similar and unique challenges as they strive to optimize performance while\u00a0maintaining physical and mental health.\u00a0\u00a0Come learn\u00a0what these challenges\u00a0are and how\u00a0Athletes and the Arts and YOU can help maintain the health of our performing artists.<\/p>\n

City of Boston Chief of Arts and Culture, Julie Burros, will be moderating this discussion.<\/p>\n
