As mentioned in part one<\/a>, on January 24th, Governor Baker released his FY19 Budget and to see his full budget see this link:\u00a0\u00a0http:\/\/budget.digital.mass.gov\/bb\/h1\/fy19h1\/<\/a><\/p>\n

Part Two is focusing on the public library funding.<\/p>\n

There are several library line items MALC follows:<\/p>\n

a) 7000-9101 Board of Library Commissioners- Got a slight increase to $1,088,204\u00a0\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

b) 7000-9401 for State Aid to Regional Libraries Local Aid also got an increase to $10,082,140\u00a0<\/i><\/p>\n

c) 7000-9501, Public Libraries Local Aid was increase slightly as well to $9,180,900<\/p>\n

d) 7000-9506 For Library Technology and Automated Resource-Sharing Networks was also increased by a small margin to $2,115, 928<\/p>\n

e) 7000-9508 Center for the Book was level funded<\/p>\n

The next step in the budget process is for the House Ways and Means Committee to release its proposed budget in April.<\/p>\n
