Americans for the Arts<\/a> reports that on Tuesday, May 15, 2018, the U.S. House Interior Subcommittee “advanced legislation” to fund the\u00a0National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) and the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) by an increase of $2 million.<\/p>\n

We are happy to report that under the leadership of Chairman Ken Calvert (R-CA) and Ranking Member Betty McCollum (D-MN), the Subcommittee allocated increases of $2 million to\u00a0both the NEA and the NEH, bringing their budgets up to $155 million each\u00a0for FY 2019.
