MCC Creative Economy Grants, Opportunities Now Available

The MCC presents new funding and other opportunities for communities, cultural organizations, and others to advance efforts to nurture our state’s creative economy. 

Adams Arts Program Planning and Implementation Grants
Intent to Apply Deadline: March 14, 2012

The Adams Arts Program seeks to promote economic and community development through the arts, sciences, and humanities in Massachusetts. Guidelines and application are online. If think you may have an eligible project, contact program staff to confirm eligibility and to discuss any questions.

ArtistLink Challenge Grants
Intent to Apply Deadline: April 13, 2012

ArtistLink Challenge Grants will provide funds to a small number of Massachusetts cities and towns interested in integrating artist space into community development strategies. The RFP is available online. Contact program staff to confirm eligibility and to discuss any questions.

Massachusetts Cultural Districts Designations
No deadline. Applications are accepted throughout the year.

The Cultural District Initiative is a state designation for a cultural district. The Initiative is designed to encourage Massachusetts communities to strengthen their sense of place, while stimulating economic activity and improving the experiences of visitors. Guidelines and application are online. Contact program staff to discuss any questions you may have about the designation process.
