A recent Boston Business Journal poll showed 90% of respondents thought the Massachusetts Film Tax Credit a “Great source of revenue, good exposure for the state”. This has certainly been good news for actors, craft persons and crew who work directly on these productions. But it has also given a boost to the hospitality and tourism industry, to financially strapped cities and towns, and to the many small businesses that productions always call on for a variety of products and services.
