For the fourth time, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is inviting Massachusetts artists working in all disciplines (visual arts, literary, performing, crafts, new media, etc.) to the State House on Thursday, November 18th to thank them for all they contribute to our state’s economy and quality of life. Massachusetts is the only state in the country to have such an event!

The 2010 event is brought to you by the Joint Committee on Tourism, Arts and Cultural Development, the Joint Committee on Economic Development and Emerging Technologies, Treasurer Tim Cahill, the Executive Office of Housing and Economic Development, the Joint Committee of Community Development and Small Business, the Massachusetts Cultural Council, the Cultural Caucus, and the Massachusetts Artists Leaders Coalition.

The event will take place in Nurses Hall** on the Second Floor of the State House.

Note: Artists are welcome to attend, even if they can only attend some of the scheduled events (ie they can only attend the brown bag lunch, etc.)
