books public domain imageMark Fowler is a partner in the New York City law firm of Satterlee Stephens Burke & Burke LLP, focused primarily on litigation and counseling involving intellectual property and media law matters. This past week he offered 44 low cost or free resources for writers and creatives on his blog, Rights of Writers. Locally, the resources include the VLA and Harvard University’s Citizen Media Law Project and their launch of the Online Media Legal Network.

In these days of increasing concern for the protection of intellectual property rights of individual creators, Mark’s post provides welcome resources for artists to explore and utilize to strengthen their success. Thank you, Mark.

The goal of the Massachusetts Artists Leaders Coalition (MALC) is to ensure that Massachusetts artists of all disciplines have a voice in public dialogs, decisions, and key public policy initiatives that impact the artists community and the creative economy. MALC works to ensure that artists have a permanent place at the policy making table.
