The MCC’s 2018 program for Artist Fellowships is now open for applications. “Supporting excellence in individual artists”, these unrestricted grants of up to $12,000* are judged anonymously and solely on artistic excellence.

[blockquote align=”none” cite=”~ArtSake blog post, August 11, 2017″]Mass Cultural Council believes that the work of individual artists is at the core of a thriving and vital society.[/blockquote]

The deadline for this fiscal year’s disciplines is Monday, October 2, 2017.

  • Drawing & Printmaking, Poetry
  • Traditional Arts

Applications for Choreography, Fiction/Creative Nonfiction, and Painting open on December 15, 2017, and close Monday, January 29, 2018.

See the MCC’s recent ArtSake blog post for further information and inspiration!

*Please note that award amounts are dependent on legislative approval. The MA FY2018 budget is still pending. Your advocacy will be needed in September!

 Important Reminder

Please take the “By Artists For Artists” state-wide survey for Massachusetts artists of all disciplines! MALC needs your answers to help us better advocate for our community!
