Adjunct professors and Northeastern University reached a tentative contract agreement today that affects more than 900 professors, thus averting the January 19 walkout.

Great news! With our walkout looming, we reached a tentative contract with the Northeastern University administration very early this morning. Among the wins: improved wages and reduced classroom instability for more than 900 professors. (See press release for more details.)

Walkout is officially called off. Stay tuned (on this event page) for more details.

Thanks for your commitment to solidarity with us! Watching all those profile pictures change yesterday really helped keep our spirits up during our last day of negotiations.

Special thanks to the Empower Adjuncts Community Coalition!
