MALC’s Work Highlighted By The Artery

July 15, 2014

MALC has been working since November of 2013 to ensure artists of all disciplines, art, culture, and the creative economy are part of the conversation during this year’s race for Massachusetts governor. That’s when we began work on our policy recommendations paper. Since releasing our paper, we have been fortunate to meet with most of the candidates running for governor.

Today that work was highlighted by Boston’s own The ARTery. We are very appreciative of being mentioned and we look forward to the months ahead as the candidates for governor campaign throughout our state. It is our hope that our next governor (whoever he or she may be) will be focused on the artists’ community and the creative economy, and will welcome both established and aspiring members of that ecosystem to be part of any and all policy discussions.

Please keep checking in with MALC for the latest on the 2014 Massachusetts governor’s race.
